The Jackson Banjo Club was formed in 1972 by Richard Riedel with the purpose of preserving and promoting the banjo and the music of the Tin Pan Alley era to late 1900s. The club currently has 14 members and performs around 50 times a year. Members come from all walks of life, but have one thing in common--they all love the four-string banjo!
