The Binge (unplugged)

Location: Elderly Instruments
in-store performance (free)

Established in 1995, the Binge has developed a strong following with their pure, unadulterated rock and roll. With influences including blues-rock (Led Zeppelin, Humble Pie, ZZ Top), Southern rock (Allman Brothers, Lynyrd Skynyrd, Molly Hachet) and early metal (Black Sabath, Metallica, Judas Priest), the Binge is known for their high-energy performances. For their debut CD, "Play Nice," the group has assembled 10 original songs, penned by guitarists/vocalists Ron St. Germain and Jeff Boyd. Rounding out the quartet are Larry Scott White on bass and Ron Stewart on drums. Renegade describes the Binge as "a straight-up four-piece ensemble that boasts pure, unpretentious rock and roll . . . fine guitars, good feel, and rich vocal harmonies . . . a band with much promise!"
