HARMONY - THE PEOPLE'S GUITAR, 2nd EDITION by Ron Rothman
It seems as if every player has owned a Harmony guitar at one time or another. Maybe it was a Silvertone from Sears, a super cheap Stella or one of the other 57 names Harmony's were sold under. This most prolific guitar manufacturer managed to get its instruments into more homes than any other guitar company. This book covers the years 1945-1973 and features color photos and catalog reproductions throughout. Harmony flat-tops, archtops, solid body electrics, the Hollywood guitar, the Stratotone, Caribbean and Colorama guitars, Harmony Rebel and Rocket guitars, are all included, plus a few mandos, ukes and banjos. This edition includes new graphics and pictures plus two new chapters on "Roy Smeck and Harmony" and "Harmony Bass Guitars." 5.5" x 8.5" 101 pp.
