DVD - POWER PICKIN' VOL. 3 taught by Bill Evans: Bill expands on the lessons from the first two "Power Pickin'" DVDs in a bluegrass band setting. A crack bluegrass band (including Kenny Smith and Herschel Sizemore) plays through a half dozen or so familiar bluegrass songs, with emphasis on the banjo backup. The mix of songs includes a variety of keys and tempos, allowing Bill to demonstrate a wide range of backup techniques and styles. After each tune, Bill analyzes and demonstrates the techniques he employed, playing the examples slowly and often in a split screen setting to make them easy to learn. Includes tab booklet. An Acutab product.
