It's been over four years since the death of Seldom Scene founder and guiding light John Duffey, and this is the group's first CD without him. They're still a force to be reckoned with, with Duffey's legacy looming large over the proceedings. The current group of Ben Eldridge, Dudley Connell, Lou Reid, Ronnie Simpkins and Fred Travers has assembled a wide ranging (and fun, per Duffey's philosophy!) bunch of songs, with new material as well as bluegrass treatments of tunes by Muddy Waters, Bruce Springsteen, Chuck Berry, Hank Williams, and more.
