This is a reunion project for Walt Koken, Bob Potts and Mac Benford, who first banded together in 1970 in the San Francisco Bay Area as the Fat City String Band---playing on street corners, folk fests and many another venue, eventually becoming the much-loved Highwoods Stringband, the flagship ensemble of the oldtime music revival in the `70s. The term "ragged but right!" could have been invented for these boys, who sound like they've never left off!
