Founded in 1981 by Battlefield Band alumnus Jamie McMenemy, Breton fiddler Christian LeMaitre and flute sensation Jean-Michel Veillon, Kornog was the most widely-acclaimed Breton band ever to hit North America. Now after 13 years and sporting a new guitarist, Nicolas Quemener, Kornog is back! Here in full force are the Scottish songs interlaced with the ancient, hypnotic, powerful "Fest Noz" dance tunes of Celtic Brittany, and a rich tapestry it is.
