YOU AIN'T TALKIN' TO ME: CHARLIE POOLE AND THE ROOTS OF COUNTRY MUSIC
3 CDs, 72 classic tracks. Much of the music is from the legendary singing, banjo-playing North Carolinian of pre-war country music, but about 30 tracks are by other groups that influenced Poole, or were influenced by him. The cigar box-style packaging includes a 60-page booklet with many rare photographs and an extensive biography of Poole by producer Henry Sapoznik.
