CHANTERELLE WOODY, MAPLE: Maple neck, 12" maple rim with ebony cap, bubinga (rosewood) tone ring, ebony peghead overlay and fretboard (1 3/8" nut width ), fretboard scooped above 17th fret. Pearl oak tree inlaid in peghead, engraved pearl fretboard inlays include leaves, acorns and dots. Nickel hardware, planetary-geared tuning pegs with cream colored buttons, 26 brackets, No-Knot tailpiece, Renaissance head, maple bridge with ebony top. Woody pot is deeper and thicker (3" deep, 1/2" thick) than Special model.

CHANTERELLE "WOODY" OPENBACK BANJO
Cherry or maple 12" rim (thicker and deeper than the Special), with a bubinga (rosewood) tone ring, ebony fretboard (shallow frailing scoop at rim), engraved inlays - leaf & acorn designs at the 1st, 5th, & 12th frets and dots in the other positions, peghead inlay is a big old tree in full leaf, No Knot tailpiece, synthetic head, 5 geared tuners, ivoroid buttons. A very nice banjo with a lot of character!
