JIM AVERY MANDOLIN STRAP: TAN, ABOUT 40" LONG ADJUSTS TO ABOUT 36" LONG - Soft, comfortable 6-part round braided strap with some natural stretch to it. Reinforced (to prevent endpin tearout) tab end with three adjustment holes, loop end for fitting over f-model scrolls (will work on most A-models, too, but may require a tie-on cord). Length is approximate -- remember they WILL get longer, they'll never get shorter. Length approximate to within +/- an inch or so.

Jim Avery handmakes these traditional braided straps right here in the USA. Made from soft garment leather with a four part braid. Tab is reinforced with nylon webbing to prevent tearout. About 4" of adjustment available through the three holes in the tab end. These straps stretch and get more supple with time. There is no reinforcing core material, just all-natural leather. Avery straps are used by Bobby Osborne, Ronnie McCoury, Roland White and many other premier mandolin players.
