CONCORD ADJUSTABLE MANDOLIN CASE: BLACK W/ BURGUNDY LINING - Quite simply, this is the most versatile mandolin case to cross our path. The interior has adjustable pads for the sides of the body and the headstock. You configure them in a way best suited to your mandolin. The pads are secured in place with velcro. Holds right or left handed mandolins, A or F models, Army-Navy, celtic style, odd shapes etc, etc (alas, it will not fit the old Gibson 3-point F-models). The design, which comes from mandolin maker Michael Lewis in partnership with the Concord case company, has been very well thought out and the execution of the design is excellent. The shell is a wooden rectangle with arched top & lined cordura nylon cover, which provides great impact & thermal protection. The cover has a full size music compartment over the top. The interior is nicely lined with suspension pads in addition to the adjustable pads. There are also two large accessory compartments, a thermometer, hygrometer & humidifier and even a Tone-Gard holder in the lid. To facilitate carrying the case there are 5 D-rings with 2 straps such that you can configure either a single shoulder strap or dual backpack straps, a web nylon handle on one end and a very comfortable padded handle on the side.
