Designed for instruments with archtops, he's lean and mean and way skinnier than folks are accustomed too, but man does he bring some huge tone to the table! Some flat top players might like it, but generally they find it too bright and/or sparky for their ears. By nature, there is one weight available, but it comes in standard or Crowe spacing and in the three usual heights. Not maple and not ebony, Archie is made of top secret tonewoods, put one on your archtop, get to pickin' and start grinnin'! Other variations: |
