VG-EC, entire mandolin has been oversprayed, buffed and polished, looks good, 2-point body, red sunburst finish, carved spruce top with ivoroid-bound oval soundhole, figured maple back and rims, mahogany neck, ivoroid-bound 24-fret ebony fingerboard, 1-1/4" nut width, 14" scale, pearl nut, adjustable ebony bridge base with rosewood saddle, nickel hardware, "The Gibson" stamped tailpiece cover, ivoroid-bound body, pearl logo and double flowerpot headstock inlays, 4-on-a-plate tuners with ivoroid buttons, small area of repaired pickguard damage on bass side of soundhole, back center seam has been glued and cleated, kerfing on inside back has been replaced for about 6" on each side of end block (back was most likely off at some point), marks at edge of body front and back from pickguard mount (no pickguard included), imprints on top of instrument where bridge was mounted before overspray had fully cured, last digit of serial # is illegible, with OHSC (green lining) (SN:5516(?))
