GIBSON F-2 (late 1910's): VG-EC except small repaired top and back cracks (one each) and peghead scroll has been repaired, red sunburst carved spruce with oval soundhole, red stained birch sides and carved back, 2-piece mahogany neck with dark center strip, 24-fret ebony fingerboard, pearl dot inlays, 1-3/16" nut width, ~14" scale length, ebony bridge, ivoroid-bound top, soundhole and fretboard, pearl "The Gibson" headstock inlay and engraved tailpiece cover, tortoise plastic pickguard stamped "PAT.MAR.30,'09", pickguard mount stamped "PAT.JULY 4,1911", 4-on-a-plate open-gear tuners, some areas of finish touchup, serial number faded, "OWEN E. MCGRATH" stamped on label, probably c.1919 - 1921 because of the tuners and color of the sunburst . . ., on consignment, with black OHSC (red lining) (SN:OWEN E. MCGRATH)
