GIBSON K-2 MANDOCELLO (1913)

VG-EC black finished carved spruce top with oval soundhole, mahogany stained birch back and sides, 2-piece maple neck with dark center stripe, ivoroid-bound 24-fret ebony fingerboard with dot inlays, 16" piece of replacement ivoroid binding on treble side of fretboard, 1-9/16" nut width, 24-5/8" scale, non-adjustable ebony bridge, clamshell tailpiece, elevated tortoise pickguard appears original except for a part of the mounting bracket, ivoroid-bound body and soundhole, black peghead with script "The Gibson" logo and fleur-de-lis inlay, nut has extra grooves from having been setup differently at one time (probably as a guitar), 4-on-a-plate tuners with ivoroid buttons, gold strap button installed on side of neck heel, wonderful, deep, rich tone, with newer HSC (red lining) (SN:157591913)
