BACON & DAY SILVER BELL NO. 1 TENOR BANJO (1927)

VG-EC, 11-1/8" fiberskyn head, maple neck and black-bound resonator, ivoroid-bound (small repair of binding at fret 16 on bass side) 24-fret ebony fingerboard with fancy pearl inlays, 1-1/8" nut width, 23" scale, Silver Bell tone ring, replacement Oettinger finger-style tailpiece (original with replaced adjusting screws is in case), newer armrest, fancy pearl headstock inlays, pearl backstrap inlay, neck has been oversprayed and refretted at some point, replacement geared tuners with pearloid buttons, resonator has been refinished using a more red-brown stain, includes "Richelieu Master Mute," on consignment, with OHSC (green lining) (SN:15086)
