LEEDY RESOTONE TENOR BANJO (1920's)
VG-EC, here's an interesting banjo, fancy 2-piece walnut neck with colored center strips and carved heel, top tension 28-lug walnut and metal rim, 19-fret ebony fingerboard with fancy inlays and colored binding, walnut resonator with integral flange, flange has diamond cutouts, ebony peghead overlay and underlay with fancy inlays and banner on front reads "RESOTONE", rim has engraving on it, replacement tailpiece, added string mute, a social security number has been etched into the rim and resonator, tuners are stamped "PATENTED" and have pearl buttons, added magnetic pickup stamped "BLV" and has a 1/4" output jack and volume knob that go thru opposite sides of the rim, 23" scale, 1-1/8" nut width, ~11" head, were not sure who marketed the Resotone brand but this is clearly a Leedy built banjo, with OHSC (green lining), on consignment
