EC+, designed with Ron Block, of "Alison Krauss & Union Station" fame, 1-piece die cast flange, 3-ply mple rim (hide glue joins plies as in pre-war times), Huber "vintage flathead" tone ring, dual steel co-ordinator rods, double bound 5-ply pre war style resonator with 2 concentric wood marquetry purfling rings, curly maple neck, fiddle cut peghead with ornate inlay, bound rosewood fingerboard with ornate inlays, "RON BLOCK" is engraved in block at 21st fret, 1-3/16" nut width, 26-1/4" scale, Waverly V-2 tuning pegs with ivoroid buttons, engraved armrest and tension hoop, clamshell tailpiece, gold plated hardware, Huber bridge, railroad spikes at frets 7 and 9, great sound, with OHSC (burgundy lining) (SN:507-66)
