VEGA FAIRBANKS WHYTE LAYDIE NO. 2 (1910)

EC-, ~10-11/16" frosted head, 26" scale, 1-1/4" nut width, Whyte Laydie tone ring, 28 brackets, double tortoise-bound inside of rim, natural finish maple neck with black center strip, ivoroid-bound ebony fretboard with engraved pearl star at 5th fret, engraved (Christmas tree) pearl dot inlays and engraved scroll at 1st fret (with mirror image inlay on peghead), engraved star and griffin inlay in peghead, back of headstock has red-painted emblem (College??), No Knot tailpiece, mechanical friction tuners with ivoroid buttons, appears all original except tailpiece and bridge, some wear marks on back of neck, railroad spikes at frets 7 and 9, very cool banjo and it sounds great too, with gigbag (SN:26113)
