DOBRO MODEL 45 (c.1933): VG-EC, dark finish, unbound wood body, 12-fret round neck (neck has significant bow, set up Hawaiian style with high nut), slotted headstock, soundwell, original stamped cone, nickel (or chrome?) hardware, unbound rosewood fretboard with pearl dot inlays, 2 screen holes, fan-style coverplate (faintly stamped "PAT. 1872633"), 3 beveled holes on body at end of fretboard extension, 3-on-a-plate open gear tuners with black plastic buttons, 14-1/8" lower bout, ~24-3/4" scale, 1-3/4" nut width, 2-3/4" to 3-1/8" body depth, made in California, rare model (different from the later Model 45), with modern SSC (red lining) (SN:3648)
