VG-EC, here's a very cool sounding pre CBS Strat, sunburst finish, the face of the guitar is very clean, the bottom edge and back show play wear, the body is dated 2/63 in the spring cavity, the highly figured neck is comfotable to play and marked 2 JAN 63B, nice looking rosewood fretboard, clay dot markers, 21 frets, all pickups, pots (dated 2nd week of '63), tremolo, tuners and hardware are original, newer (proper) w-b-w pickguard and 5-way switch installed (original 3-way in case), at one time a Clapton Strat boost system was installed and then removed, the extra cavity was professionally plugged and refinished (of course this is all under the pickguard and the pro work makes it very hard to see), this is a great deal on a truly killer guitar that sounds like a million bucks, 1-11/16" nut, 25-1/2" scale, with brown OHSC, on consignment, Price Reduced (SN:96788)
