GIBSON HG-00 CONVERSION (1938): VG-EC except for two repaired top cracks, Hawaiian version of L-00 converted for standard play (replaced nut, adjusted bridge, etc.), 14-3/4" lower bout, 3-7/16" to 4-3/8" body depth, 12 fret V-shaped mahogany neck, sunburst finished spruce top, dark stained mahogany back and sides, 19 fret rosewood fingerboard with pearl dot inlays, replacement rosewood bridge with slanted saddle, thin rosewood overlay on bridge plate and small piece of rosewood (bridge plate size) installed behind bridge plate, firestripe tortoise plastic pickguard, white-bound body, black headstock with large white silkscreened "Gibson" logo, 3-on-a-plate open gear tuners with pearloid buttons read "KLUSON MFG. CO. CHICAGO ILL. PAT 2132792", w-b-w soundhole rosette, ~24-7/8" scale, 1-29/32" nut width, filled holes near endpin from removed tailpiece, replacement bone nut, on consignment, with flat lid HSC (black lining) (SN:902D)
