GIBSON JUMBO 35 (J-35) (1939): VGC+, 16" lower bout, sloped shoulders, natural finish, spruce top, mahogany back and sides, 14-fret mahogany neck, 19-fret Brazilian rosewood fingerboard with pearl dot inlays, rectangular rosewood bridge, white-bound body, firestripe tortoise plastic pickguard, silkscreened script "Gibson" headstock logo, this guitar has had some repairs during it's 69 years on this planet but is in great shape now! It has several repaired side cracks, two repaired back cracks, new rosewood bridgeplate, new bone nut, the bridge has been cut down and the neck has been refretted (all pro work), boy and what a sound! 3-on-a-plate Kluson Deluxe tuners with amber buttons, stamped "PAT. 2132792" around the screws, 24-3/4" scale, 1-3/4" nut width, 3-7/8" to 4-3/4" body depth, one of 497 built in 1939, just a great pre-war Gibson!
