MERRILL 12-FRET C-18 PROTOTYPE (recent): EC, D-size, 15-5/8" lower bout, natural finished Adirondack spruce top with scalloped bracing and high X-brace, slotted-headstock Honduran mahogany back and sides, 12-fret mahogany neck, 20-fret ebony fingerboard with dot inlays, 1-7/8" nut width, 25-3/8" scale, ebony bridge, bone nut and saddle, tortoise plastic pickguard, rosewood body binding, w-b-w-b top purfling, Brazilian rosewood headstock overlay, open-gear Waverly tuners with ivoroid buttons, fine sound, refretted in our shop, neck block stamped "PROTOTYPE / MC C-16 / 12FT / 000174", with arched-lid OHSC (brown lining) (SN:000174)
