G-VGC, rare and original late 19th early 20th century, from the JTL shop in Mirecourt, France, label reads Violon-Alto Altermann Jerome Thibouville-Lamy etc., also branded with a D and a star above that by soundpost, two piece back of strong medium width curl, shaded red-brown varnish, several well done repairs to top, nice full tone, set up with helicores and a thomastik rope core C-string, large body (367mm) for greater dept on low end, original funky old wood case, on consignment - price reduced
