MARTIN D-28 (1944): VGC, really nice quartersawn Brazilian rosewood sides and back, red spruce top with scalloped bracing, herringbone top purfling, ivoroid-bound body, slotted diamond inlays in 20-fret ebony fingerboard, replacement ebony bridge (slightly oversize), tortoise plastic pickguard worn through in one area (something clear is filling the area), recent Waverly open back tuners with ivoroid buttons (original Kluson tuners with white plastic buttons included - in the case), 1-5/8" nut width, 25.4" scale, 15-3/4" lower bout, 4" to 4-7/8" body depth, fine sounding pre-war D-28, recent neck reset, new frets, slightly oversize bone nut, minor repaired side crack and neck patched at nut area (we can't see these last two repairs), new end pin and bridge pins (old bridge pins in case), on consignment, finish is rough but pretty much all original - some touch up on top and neck, with 1960's Martin HSC (black exterior and green interior), price reduced (SN:87829)
