ICE CAPS: PEAKS OF TELLURIDE: Sam Bush is known as the founder and leader of New Grass Revival, bandleader for Emmylou Harris' Nash Ramblers, sideman for Lyle Lovett, solo artist, and one of the world's top mandolin and fiddle players. At the Telluride Bluegrass Festival he is known affectionately as "The King of Telluride!" Sam has appeared at this now-legendary festival every year since the second annual `way back in 1975. These tracks are culled from his '92-'99 festival appearances and feature many of Telluride's usual cast of all-star characters (Jerry Douglas, John Cowan, Bela Fleck), along with drummer Larry Atamanuik, guitarists Darrell Scott, Jon Randall and many others.
