So what kind of music is this, anyway? Sure, they play guitar, mandolin, fiddle, and bass; but they're way too uptown to be folk or bluegrass -- besides, they've got a pretty hot clarinet player, too. Furthermore, they can sing; and some pretty jazzy harmonies as well. It's "string swing" with Madison, Wisconsin's Harmonious Wail! They don't just rely on the old standards, either, but a generous helping of fresh, clever material of their own.
