COLLINGS MF-5 F-MODEL MANDOLIN & CASE, WIDER FRETBOARD: Solid carved flame maple back & rims, solid carved Adirondack spruce top with tone bar bracing, ivoroid binding with side purfling, radiused ebony fretboard (1-3/16" nut), pearl dot markers, ebony peghead overlay with pearl logo and fancy inlay, gold Gotoh gears with ivoroid buttons, sunburst finish. Shaped hardshell case. Beautiful wood, workmanship, & sound. The wider nut width (1/16" wider than the standard 1-1/8") provides more room on the fretboard and softens the V-shape of the neck a bit. String spacing at bridge remains same as standard.
