ACOUSTIC WORLD F-MANDOLIN & CASE: Lloyd Loar inspired F-mandolin from Takeshi Iwamoto, of Tokyo, Japan. This instrument features highly flamed curly maple back, sides & neck, Sitka spruce top, f-holes, small bound finger rest, tone bar bracing, rich slight sunburst lacquer finish, triple bound top, back, neck & headstock, radiused ebony fretboard with dot inlay & unfretted extension, "flower pot" and "Acoustic World" peghead inlays, adjustable ebony bridge, gold tuners with ebony buttons, gold plated cast tailpiece and adjustable truss rod. Includes a nylon covered rigid foam hardshell case. This mandolin was made in 1992 and has been a factory demo model. There are blemishes on this instrument which are reflected in the pricing.
