DEERING HARTFORD 24-FRET BANJO & CASE: Maple neck, rim & resonator with brown satin finish, 20-hole bell bronze tone ring (as on Golden Era), one piece cast zinc flange, white-bound ebony fretboard with "Steamboat Gothic" inlay pattern & John Hartford's name inlaid at 21st fret, nickel plated hardware, resonator walls tapered for better projection. The 2 added frets are at the "high end" of the fretboard near the head. They give a full 2-octave range to each string. Scale length is unchanged from the standard (~26 1/4") and the banjo fits in the standard size case. Deering archtop wooden hardshell case.
