The DD-7 takes the best features from its predecessors and expands the creative potential with Modulation Delay mode (which offers natural, chorus-type sounds), classic modeled Analog Delay mode (modeling the warm analog sound of the Boss DM-2), external pedal control options (tap tempo, delay time, feedback, and effect level controllable via external expression pedal -- sold separately), longer delay time (up to 6.4 seconds), and up to 40 seconds of recording in sound on sound (hold mode).
