MARTIN PETER FRAMPTON "CAMEL" D-42 SIGNATURE LIMITED EDITION GUITAR & CASE
Frampton wrote most of the music for his early '70's album "Frampton's Camel" on a Martin. He still loves the Martin sound. - D-size body of Indian rosewood and Adirondack spruce, scalloped 5/16" braces, X-brace shifted forward to 1" below soundhole, ivoroid binding, 45-style abalone top outline & rosette, tortoise pickguard, ebony bridge, camel bone bridge pins with pearl dots. Low profile neck, bound ebony fretboard with 42-style snowflakes (pattern starts at 5th fret), Frampton's signature at 19th fret, bound peghead with old-style decal and pearl camel inlay, gold Waverly tuning gears with ivoroid butterbean buttons. Vintage toner on top, geib style hardshell case. Inside label is signed by Frampton & C.F. Martin IV and individually numbered with edition total. Only 76 will be built.
