ASHER ELECTRO HAWAIIAN MODEL ONE LAP STEEL & CASE: Simply sumptuous, Weissenborn inspired, lap steel guitar from Bill Asher. This model features a neck-thru design of solid Honduras mahogany with cylindrical tone chambers, capped with a stunning flame koa top with grained ivoroid binding & herringbone purfling, all finished in a rich gloss lacquer. The 25" scale fretboard is also of figured koa with ivoroid binding, 22 "flush frets" and pearl inlays. Headstock is solid with a koa overlay, Electro Hawaiian logo and 3-on-a-plate closed gear Kluson Deluxe tuners with cream buttons. Bridge is flame maple with aluminum saddle. There are 2 Asher custom lap steel humbucking pickups (bridge and neck positions) with master volume and tone controls & 3-way toggle switch. Neck width is ~2-1/8" @ the nut. Includes a custom fit deluxe shaped wooden hardshell case.
