MARTIN 000-28 NORMAN BLAKE SIGNATURE EDITION GUITAR & CASE

New design puts the bridge nearer the center of the lower bout for excellent bass response & dynamic range. The body is shaped like a 14-fret 000 or OM guitar, but the neck joins at the 12th fret. Built of Indian rosewood with an Adirondack spruce top & Adirondack scalloped braces. Top has ivoroid binding, herringbone trim, a Golden Era Style 28 rosette, large tortoise pickguard, and aging toner. Bridge is ebony with a long drop-in bone saddle and fossil ivory bridge pins with large pearl dots. Modified V-shape neck has a slotted peghead with Martin decal, bone nut, ebony fretboard (1-13/16" at nut, 24.9" scale), modified snowflake inlays (Blake's signature does not appear on the fretboard), Waverly Sloane tuning gears with ivoroid buttons. Gloss finish, Geib style case.
