There are six heavy duty latches, two shoulder straps, four D-rings which allow for different strap arrangements including a backpack style, a thick padded handle, plush padded interior with internal suspension fit pressure pads to hold the banjo in place, adjustable peghead pads and a large internal accessory box. The strong 6-ply shaped wooden shell has a durable silver grey Cordura-Plus covering, plush velour lining, suspension fit , dual neck cradles, heavy duty latches, secure closure seal between top & bottom of case and comfortable steel reinforced handle. One even has wheels so that you can roll the case along, rather than carry it. These cases are very well designed and very well made.

If you travel a lot or just seek superb protection for your instrument, you should consider a Calton case. These custom fitted fiberglass cases are rugged, well balanced, and attractive, with interiors custom tailored to each instrument. Each half of every case is hand moulded in a single piece, using pigmented resin, with no seams to separate and colour that is integral to the fiberglass. Hardware is high quality plated steel and is attached with steel rivets and reinforcing plates. The leather handle provides the optimum in comfort and balance. Case interiors are hand crafted from high quality foam padding, using up to 15 measurements and a template of the instrument. This particular case has been sized for a Gibson 5-string resonator banjo and we offer it here in a variety of color combinations. Other colors and sizes are available, just allow plenty of lead time as production takes about 3-4 months.
